Problem with Pa600v2 is , this set is working correct if you get all.
Author change default sounds for better one on same location, cost some style has different sounds.
Is Ok, but if you load any other style base on standard Factory sounds, will sound different.
Pa600v2 is split for 2 version, because some people don't wanna lose their styles.
Using .set version you can manually load one by one style, not overwrite factory, is a little bit advanced but not to hard, just make sure you load to empty location.
Dopamine set is perfect, has all factory + extra, you don't lose anything.

I was reading the posts about Dopaminne and Pa600v2 sets, and actually I had Dopaminne v1.6 installed. I've gave PA600_V2 a try because I wanted to try some of the sounds included in it, as Soprano DNC voice and others.

Now I've loaded Dopaminne v1.7. I confess I feel so scared when icons got lost... so I think i won't try nothin new for a (little ) time...

You can load to your user sound Soprano DNC from Pa600v2 manually.

That's the point to have .SET instead .BKP

That was what I've tried. But I've got confused, because I dont have idea where a specific sound is into a set.

Is it in PCM or SOUND folder?
In PCM folder I RAM**.PCM files. In SOUND folder, I only can see (into the only USERDK.PCG file) many folders io cant open (ArabianKit1, Real DK01, and so on...)

So, thats why I was confused.

Frankly I didn't check exacly where it is.
One day maybe I load this set again and separate somehow new sounds and maybe share here as users sounds.

i'm the author of PA600v2.
I raccomand the download of upgraded version of pa600.bkp w new sounds etc. , like Studio strings and other sound revised.

Remember that pa600v2 maintains compatibility, styles sounds different but a little bettere
it's intended to replace a never released kord mayor update for pa600.

NOTE THAT PA600v2.BKP FILE WORKS PROPERLY ONLY ON 1.10 OS VERSION!!!

What's the difference between PA600V2 and Dopamine V1.7?

Maybe I'm slow, but is this an official update, or something a smart member of the forum came up with? I also wonder, in what way is the update better than the original?

Be sure you have PA600!!, this won't do in other PA or in PA600qt ecc..!!
From Global menu you must unprotect internal style and factory!

Where in the Global Menu can I find internal style and factory? I'm new to this and I find my self struggling.

I'm also confused about the difference between V2 and Dopamine.

If everything goes wrong, can you then save yourself by doing a Factory Restore?

I have installed the V2 BK file and its working perfectly but I mistakenly did not do a backup of my original Pa600 BK.Please advise me on what I can do to bring back my original PA600 data. My email is zalokuhle@gmail.com for somebody who can help me with the original PA600 BK file so put back to my keyboard.

Hi,

Can you make a new version PA 600 V3 maybe for compatibility with the new PA 600 OS ( 1.20?) that just came out in October 2014?

I will wait until then because I don't want to screw up my PA 600. Or maybe I can try your file and if it workds fine, it its messed up then use my PA 600 Full Backup & restore?

PA600v2 is compatible by OS 1.10 and 1.20 because they share the same factory resource
