I'll give them til the first week in Nov and then have the cash back, both Andertons and Gear for Music have them to buy online.

I have just won a M Audio 49 key controller on evil bay to enable a better playing experience for it and collecting that next Monday from Bromsgrove, west mids so if I cant have the volca by the end of that week I will get one on line. Its a shame that well established stores are suffering due to the net but if they cant come up with the goods its there bad not ours :-)

I know you are not supposed to advertise on the forum. But if you are still affected by shortage/ availability and all- it's just to let you know & hopefully help you out. My Volca Keys is up for sale on ebay UK at the moment- until Sunday I think.

Yes indeed I have- it's probably shameful in some way or another :) - but we met- I twiddled her knobs- she squeaked at me- but at the end of the date we were just sitting there at a table for two looking around the room- all we were really thinking about was going our separate ways. Sadly- we didn't hit it off. I suppose that's the chance you take on a blind date. Next time I'll wait until whatever it is gets into the shops before I buy. It was a case of anticipation being nine tenths of the pleasure for me.
I still have the Bass- though again it's not quite firing on all four feet for me either- but I'll stick with it.
On a more positive note- all this has somehow reignited my interest in my Monotribe which has led to some very satisfactory sessions (clicks and all). I'm happy to say she has forgiven me for ignoring her lately- Shhh- keep it quiet though she doesn't know a thing about my night out!

They are impossible to get here in the Netherlands. December if you're lucky, according to the shops I've asked. But most supplies are likely going to the US, so they may be easier/earlier available there.

Andertons in the UK will send to the Netherlands, they have a Keys in stock and the others will be there on the 20th November.

They have always treated me very well, a rarity in the days of the internet!

:3dthumbs:
After all that fuss as well!....... October has come and gone and so have my Volcas- (Bass & Keys.... I never fancied the Beats in the first place). I think I may have been expecting too much... perhaps. In particular the bass. I was hoping for a rasping, bleeping, growling beast- like a Monotribe with big horns on and slavering fangs that would need to be held with two hands at all times...... It's sound is too thin for me- the filter is awful- it's just not up to it. I'm not surprised that there hasn't been too many exited posts raving about it. I have sold mine and invested in a Waldorf Rocket instead. I'll let you all know how I get on with it if you like. I have just ordered it a few minutes ago.
If you feel the same way my advice would be too sell now whilst others are still hunting for them.
I would also advise anyone thinking about buying them to think again- perhaps the Rocket would be for you?

The more I read, the more I'm happy that followed my instinct rather than my rational side and went for the Monotribe instead of the Bass - even though on paper the Bass seems to be superior to the Tribe.

The Keys is my favourite, followed by the beats with the Bass coming last.

This may be because I haven't really messed around with it much.
