That is great Sharp, thanks ...
BTW has anyone of you experience with the Aeromidi app? It's quite expensive, but claims that tunes can be played. May be, I should check out the trial ...

Has anybody had the same experience?
Out of the box the leap device was okay but a bit doggy - but after a "recalibration" it seemed to be much smoother and more reliable.

AeroMidi was $100 only a few weeks ago. Far as I remember they got some negative feedback on the shopping cart. For what exactly I don't remember. Could have been the price of the app. It seems those comments were deleted, and the price has dropped. It's still a lot of money considering how much every other app costs.
Just an idea, you could assign the KRONOS pads to Geco. That way you could play 8 blocks of notes and even control other things at the same time.

Sharp.

BTW....I hope your all aware of the promotion ?
When you go to the AirSpace Store, look at the banner at the top and you will see “5 days of free apps”
You get one “Pay For” app for “free” per day for 5 days. They are only games, but hey, I'll take anything for free.

Wow, thanks Sharp,
I was so focused on Geco, that I did not look around much ... games are fun.
Interesting that the price of Aeromidi has been 100$ before. What do they think? Incredible.
I did not understand how to set up your suggestion with the Kronos pads. Do we have press-a-button or switch functions in Geco? My first impression was, that we have 3D movements and the only way to switch, is by closing/opening the hand or take it out of the scanned area.
I have to confess that I only watched the Geco videos shortly, never read something like a documentation, and after the set up I started playing around and having fun ...
Geco is so easy to use und to assign movements to CCs - a really excellent app.

It's no different than any normal setup in Geco.
On the KRONOS though.....
Press the Global button.
Go to the Controllers / Scales Tab
Go to the Controllers Tab.
You can at this point see all 8 pads in the screen and you can assign a CC# value to them. Whatever numbers you put in there, assign those same numbers to Geco and whatever gestures you want to control the pads with.
Here's a short little video showing it working how I like it.

Using the pads obviously opens up a lot of potential.

Yep.
I hope KORG take a look at all this. A Leap Motion in side their next workstation at the OS level could be very powerful.
A few lasers and what more could anyone ask.

I doubt they will unless it becomes an industry standard. But its a great suggestion.
Kinect 2 is probably going to offer much the same as leap.

Sharp - is this you on the LASERS?
After having seen J.M. Jarre performing on such a device I would love to have it too.
Has anybody any experience with something like this?
