Ok, some news.
The waveform description part is a little bit difficult to decode, but the meta.img file is decoded for the most important part.
I am starting a single meta.img file loader/writer.
I think i will be able to simplify your own sample pack generation, depending on how many people are interested by this...

Hello tomtomheaven
Doing a great job and you are interested in so many.
First, I thought it was working with Awave Studio, but you have shown that it is not so.
You are logged in, you're almost there.
Congratulations on your work, if we can help you, are available.
Great tomtomheaven.

Well done "tomtomheaven"
You are doing the work that Korg should have done for krome (if they resist to release sample playback feature).
Well, send the bill to Korg when it is finished....
Best regards

Hello Krome users,
here is the second part of my work :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxvI7R_b9d0
Now some clarifications :
1) I cannot provide you sample pack on demand, stop asking me.
2) I hate speculators and other people that make supposition about my opinion, or my work.
They will never get an answer from me.

Do it in Java?
Maybe add a Krome driver to JSynthLib? So the JSynthLib framework could be used?

Hi,
for the the moment, source code is in C.
I do not know Jsynthlib, but i will have a look on it.
Nevertheless, I have installed a virtual machine to compile the tools for PC.
I am checking the feasability to convert KSC, KMP, KSF files to IMG*2 files :
An homemade MakeOptionPcm.exe

not copyrighted by Korg. (except if they release it

)
In fact, without any document, again, i will have to do everything from scratch.
Best Regards

Well,
I know the format of meta.img & sample.img files.
Now i am looking for information on KMP/KSF files to make a converter.
i have found a cpp source file, but i need to analyze it to make the tool...

The Oasys and Trinity documents I have recommended on the other thread give you a very good description of each bit/byte what they do.
