I auditoned the Adam A7's and A7X's at the GC last year.
The A7's were nice,but once I switched on the A7X's my choice was clear.
They were just more open sounding with a nicer bottom end.
Took them home and am very pleased.
I use them as nearfields and my mixes translates very well on other systems.

Given the specs and the reviewer comments on the A7X's, that's the outcome I would expect.
