Simple tune - more a sketch using new sounds and hearing how they mix; particularly with acoustic strings in there. Not sure the mix is right just yet... The strings used are part of the KSL.

Stylistically there is a big nod of the head to a certain Greek chap...

All plinks/plonks, ostinato and drums - V-Synth
All leads and timpani - Jupiter 80
All pads, strings, gong and piano - OASYS (with Symphony module)

Recorded and mixed on D3200

Composed and performed by me :)

Very beautiful .... you can get more out of your Oasys than most Kronos users (including myself) can of their instrument.

Neil, it's brilliant! Congratulations! Reminds me of that master you mentioned...

Hi, Michel, you are right. I also think there is no difference between O and K in this regard, Kronos is not better than OASYS. They are both perfect tools. It depends on the composer - and Cello did it again! :)

Cello, that's beautiful. I particularly like the flanging at the start and the lead sound at the end, but also just the way it all sits together in a soundscape. Sounds quite warm too.

Hi Cello,

very nice piece that could easily be a movie score; I immediately had a vision of a spacecraft flying through universe ..

best regards

I am lucky to have visited this site after such a long time. Your track is one of the best I heard for a while. It is not only the arrangement, the sounds you used, it is the melody, the mood - the track. GREAT and my deepest respect.

Thank you so much Peter! What an encouraging and kind message to read; and your message, and everyone else's, is very much appreciated and valued :)

Well done, that sounded fantastic. All your music is right up my street.

Are you selling a CD? I'd love a copy of all your tracks.

I should have taken some photos of the girls during the sampling sessions. It would have been nice to share them so people can see the faces behind the voices. Claire is very pretty.

Not at the moment - would love to do that sometime though; have now got around 60 tracks finished so should really try and cherry-pick to get a wee CD out.

That would have been fab - she sounds like she is drop dead gorgeous! Are you not still in touch with Claire/the others? eg Facebook? Ask them to send a pic for their fans! ;)
