No. Because there's the other version that is also free for Windows.

I was thinking about looking into improving it, but between it using a version of Java that does not even work on my computer (I'm still on OSX 10.6.7), and the the way the program is written (direct file manipulation instead of loading into memory and using structs with sensible field names) making it hard to follow, I decided against it. If I'd feel I needed an editor, I'd probably write one from scratch.

E2S Sample Editor and Manager

If you don't already know there is a pretty boss editor for the E2S called "Sample Manager for Electribe Sampler" here...http://www.appification.de/ElectribeSampleManager/.

And..CEVS isnt that bad either although it's made for the Volca. The only thing is making up to 100 samples/4mb at a time, but it keeps it organized.

Yes, thanks, I know - but that also requires a newer OSX, and I don't feel like updating, since I still use Logic 8.

I don't get it... Is there some kind of "sync" function on the Korg Electribe Sampler (to dump waves to it) that I don;t know about?

No, you do it all with the files on the card. The Sample Editor one above will create an all samples file for you, which you can then place on the SD card and put back into your E2s.

Nope, I am talking about CEVS and the Korg Electribe Sampler's Sync hardware...

Hey man,
I just wanted to take the time to thank you for creating this sample organizer. Being able to change the category of sample is a huge bonus.
Cheers,
Mike

hi,
i am trying to use the app you created (great thanks for that!) but im unable to load my samples. after i load the .all file with my samples, save it on SD card and then put into and load my korg, i get the Unknown Error and no samples appear (sometimes 1 sample appears).
Do you have any idea, what goes wrong?

The wav files needs to be in a compatible format.

If you are looking for new Sample Banks for your Es2 check out the FB group.

I am putting this out to every programmer who has built an Electribe 2 Sampler editor / sample librarian.

We need an iOS/iPhone/iPad app version of your editor. Needs to happen. Also you need to make money for your work. I’m thinking members here who have iPhone/iPads who love the E2’s / E2S’s would easily pay $5-$10 for such an app. I sire as hell would.

Can we do this? Can we make this happen? Take what you have done and convert it to an iOS app?
