Don't know how good the sounds are but just maybe!
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
Gear: Kronos 73, Wavestation EX, Polysix, King Korg, Monotron and Monotron Duo, Minikorg, Moog Grandmother, my very old MiniKorg, 4 acoustic and 9 electric guitars, 1 Ibanez 5 string bass, a Steel guitar, a bunch of microphones, 2 pairs of studio monitors and other very cool toys, 1 wife and 4 cats and a lava lamp!

Fantastic hard work bush !
Really nice !
I particularly liked the Zawinul sounds and Emmerson ones !
Very impressed by your skill !

Thanks for sharing that with us !
Again another proof of the incredible versatility of the Kronos and specially the AL-1 (No harsh in those demo lol)

Cheers :D

PS: for those who asked for the Alaska sound I made one (far from the bush quality) but it exists at least :D :

This is beyond generous. I was actually thinking of picking up an MOXF just to cover these kinds of sounds. There are some really impressive third party soundsets covering classic rock for the Motif series, but with this gift from BB using his incredible programming talent, I'll just stick with the Kronos. Thank you, thank you, thank you. :D

It would be interesting to see how close you could capture those sounds out of Korg oscillators, compared to loading the samples!

I wonder if the entire Pro Soloist could be emulated. It only has the 30 sounds. The question would be whether the switches and sliders on the Kronos could be programmed to do what the switches and sliders do on the ARP. (The switches mostly assign particular effects to aftertouch.)

Someone has worked on duplicating these patches on a Krome:

I bet that with AL-1 somebody could pretty much nail the sounds. I think it would just be a matter of choosing the right filter because the old ARP synthes; and plerase correct me if I'm wrong; used a 12 Db per octave 2 pole filter as oppsed to the Moog filter that I think was 24 Db per octave 4 pole.

Not that I really know what the pole bit means.

But it sounds cool when I say it!

I think the weekend warrior is looking for something along these lines for a Kronos library.

I never had a Kronos, unfortunately. I got one temporarily for the demos.

I still remember the great demos you did on the Kronos, so I was not aware of that. All the best to you, Akos!

@Billysynth: the new OS is rock solid, no worries: you should definitely install it and enjoy it together with the great new soundset.
