I just discovered that the Eridol (Roland) PCR-300 works. In the PCR-300, you need to turn off the Advanced Driver. When the Advanced Driver is on, the host PC/Mac needs to have the driver software installed. When it's turned off, it uses the generic USB driver and is then compatible with the Kronos.
I'm using it so that the sliders and knobs to control 8 tracks of volume and pan and the sliders and knobs on the Kronos to control the other 8.
How about Steinberg's USB controllers ?

How about the Steinberg model PD which is a USB pad controller. I don't think it's just for the Cubase DAW...

This is a thread to post the reference of USB controllers known to work, not one to query whether they are working.
Please open a thread to ask a question about specific controllers and their working status with the Kronos. Thanks.

Umm Francois, their are a few others who have posted usb controller queries to this thread previously. I don't know where else to post my query. I don't believe it needs its own thread... Are you just picking on me because I am new?

A topic entitled "USB controllers known to work" should be left to reporting controllers that do work. Specially when it's a sticky that has been placed on top of the subforum.
You could open a new topic called "Does the Steinberg ABC work with the Kronos". At least, it's clear and won't get burried inside a long thread.
This is simple logic to keep things organised, and not a remark to pick on anyone, newbie or old hat.

Does anyone know if the NI Maschine would work via USB? Thanks.
Yes I have seen this video about Korg PadKontrol looks as if it works alright into the usb port.

Not mentioned on here are the Korg MicroKontrol and the Korg Kontrol49 which both work seamlessly with USB Midi.
Comment: The Kontrol49 does most of what the Korg PadKontrol does (no roll/flam) but you do have a keyboard and 2 MIDI Out options instead. (Add a Nanopad for a few quid and you have the roll/flam function - but then the Nanopad takes the USB; however the Kontrol49 can then be connected by standard MIDI, (or both together under USB Midi via a PC).
N.B. Both Kontrol49 and Nanopad should be able to connect to the Kronos simultaneously using a powered USB hub (Thanks to Francois for that information).

I asked a similar question on another Post, but on this Post you say there's not a 2nd tier keyboard blocking the view.
So where/how do you mount the A-300PRO?

22lb 88key weighted controller works perfectly for me with my Kronos 61 note.
Kronos powers it flawlessly.

Unfortunately I could not find one until after I had mapped everything out, but when I did it confirmed by work. ~

I'm using an M-Audio Keystation 88es with my Kronos 61 (power and MIDI over USB -- no problems).
