Anyway, this is the reason why many people stil use cracked software . These companies are way too greedy.
You have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE how much money it costs to create this library. Plan for a recording session, conduct a recording session, countless hours editing samples, etc.

Also, if Korg doesn't earn a good profit from each library, why would they ever produce any more?

The reason "people still use cracked software" is GREED. I have seen products that cost $10 cracked. A high price is not the reason people use cracks. GREED is why people use cracks.

Let's make a $249 bet. I bet this library won't be cracked in 4 months. Willing to take that bet?

Just FYI, the OASYS had multiple similar EXis that were never cracked.

Shakil wrote:@vstkeys: "These companies are way too greedy. ".... I think it's the user who is greedy downloading cracked versions....

Now-a-days... almost all software applications have fully functional demo versions... if you REALLY need them, you won't mind paying for them... The software pays for themselves within a few projects, if you really use them for commercial projects.... if you don't, then you should know music can be very an expensive hobby, if you get too picky....

The Pianos in KRONOS are FINE.. you don't really HAVE to purchase this library...
I agree with you. If it was left to greedy users, everything would be dirt cheap or downloaded for free ( and illegally), until the company goes out of business.

I don't know about you, vstkeys, but I want Korg to stay in business.

Has anyone been able to download the 3.8gb zipped file? i've tried all day and ended up with an incomplete file (2.7GB after 10 hours of download here in the UAE). I'm trying again. Have downloaded 300+mb so far after 2 hours of download.
It shows i have 1 day left to complete the download.

Seems to be slower than usual.

Been downloading for about 10 hours here as well, with another 19 hours remaining :(

I know my internet connection isn't the issue.

Sounds like a lot of people are trying to download the same file at the same time. Too much traffic. Or maybe a sever problem where the file lives.

I think I'll be waiting for PianoManChuck to make a video showing the three pianos strengths and weaknesses before I slap down ~$250 for another piano. The demos sound really good but so don't the demos for the original pianos. I'm still more excited about some of the Karo libraries. Is Korg deliberately suppressing Karo until they sell enough of their own expansion packages?
Latest Set Up: Kronos 61, Casio Privia, Korg TR61, EoWave Ribbon, Roli Rise 48, TEC Breath Controller, StudioLogic MP-117 Bass Pedals, Moog Theremini.
Past Instruments of Construction: Hammond A100 w/Leslie 760, Korg R3, Roland AxSynth, Korg Poly61, Korg M1, Univox MaxiKorg, Korg MS2000, (2) Moog Concertmate MG1, (2) Hammond X5, Rhodes Mark I & 2, Farfisa Compact, Yamaha S08, Casio SK1, Strymon Mobius, Custom Bass Pedals, Burns B3 Theremin.

there is no comparison between the 2 expansions, so I would state there is no basis for that conspiracy theory.

I will buy both. If they were both available on the same day, I would buy both.

I'll wait for some reviews here. If the reviews are good I'm in. Although, you'd think there would be a better way for delivery than downloading 4 gigs.
Yamaha S90es, Hammond XK-1, Kronos 88, Gibson Les Paul, American Deluxe Strat, Taylor accoustic, Vox amp, Motion Sound Pro 145, KC-550s x2, a bunch of plugins, and a Kawai grand.

My current download speed is 33 KB/s... still 9 hours to go
So, I can give it a try tomorrow :)

I am going to wait a few days before trying to download.

Most likely the Korg webserver is being overwhelmed by a large number of people trying to download a 3.8GB file.

Took around an hour for me last night, no hiccups. Standard consumer cable connection, Philadelphia, USA. I'm looking forward to trying it tonight and adding to the feedback thread.

Downloading the demo version now... I have a decent DSL connection, but the download speed of this particular download is going at about 68 kb/sec (slow by DSL standards). When I left the house, it said there was 14 hrs, 20min to go... that puts it at tomorrow!

If I like the demo, I may consider shelling out for the unlock code... but so far I'm perfectly happy with the German Grand on the Kronos, and all the great piano patches on the Nord. So it HAS to be absolutely fantastic if I'm going to consider shelling out that kind of money, as I'm perfectly happy with everything the way it is right now. On the other hand, if Korg does the same great, impressive job with the Austrian piano as they did with the German piano, then it'll be worth it!

I got mine here in Germany around 10 hours ago within 2 hours.

All the best: it is worth the waiting IMHO.
