whilst we're at it, I'd really like to see KARMA in a groovebox. Seriously, I think the groovebox concept isn't that far from the M3M, however I heard that the cue list switching is a little laggy. If it weren't for that, the M3M would basically be the same as the product you are asking for.

Seriously though, I think KARMA in a groovebox would be a killer feature. Would certainly wipe the smugness from the roland boxes.

Or M50+R3 combo, but with 4GB flash instead of ROM, along with some RAM for uploading new samples. The most important thing is to maintain the knobby interface, step sequencing, and everything else that is focused on creating/modulating live music. KARMA is a natural for interesting live phrases beyond basic arpeggiation.

i think it is really funny that we're asking for korg os update support email on the microsampler sub forum, with no reply at all from korg and as soon as new stuff to sell to us pops up.. they're there.. without getting all cynical about this

dear korg in this times of crisis..it is the moment to change soem tide

time to learn to invest again in developing a relation with customers who already bought some of your gear...

enhance and debug gear's os.. enhancing it a bit.. getting rid of some flaws

now where getting at it.. great the kaossilator pro... but it might be super to offer the kp3 owners at least a os upgrade to have the capability to do overdubs on the 4 loops that the kp3 offers... lets say for a 60 euro or 75.. i would love to pay this amount of money.. does that sound profitable?

I missed one Korg release for NAMM ... the SP-170 digital piano. http://www.korg.com/Product.aspx?pd=565#

It's new, very simple and straight-forward, just 10 programs on it, and 2 pianos. Found it when i was looking at Korg's digital pianos.

I'm looking to buy a digital piano for my home. I'm an apartment-dweller, so i need something small, and nothing too fancy. Ideally, i'd love to have the M3's pianos, so I'm looking for the closest thing to that. I'm wondering how this new digital piano fits in with the other models.

It says it has 2 grand piano samples on it, could these be the same as or similar to what's in the SV-1? The specifications are not very detailed, so it's hard to tell exactly what it is without finding one to try out.

Korg designated the keyboard action as "Natural Weighted Hammer Action." How does this compare with RH3? better? scaled down? or just different in some way? anyone know anything about this product?

btw that thing in the picture above my post looks older than i am!
