The biggest game changer would be allowing individual slices to be looped without taking additional spots. Like it was possible on the ESX.
That way you could merge thousands of single cycle waveforms into one sample and still loop them individually.

I love my E2S, as I said earlier in this thread But there are a few things that seem like easy additions that would make it better. Like maybe make it so you can have the metronome going when you sample from audio in (not just resample) to get timing right, and maybe have an option where it starts recording when audio hits the input (this would make recording drum hits very easy without having the waveform display for editing). That kinda thing seems like a simple addition well within the E2S capabilities. (Btw, if I can already do these things and am just too dumb please let me know)

those things u mentioned seem so trivial and hardly game changers no wonder korg is not bothered to actually implement the change cos alot of them are very subjective and nitpicky.

I think the more useful additions would be in the areas of sample management; and how the computer integration works as currently it is very weak.
How is wanting to make it so you can sample something and have a metronome trivial? It's small yes, but being able to sample say a melody from another synth and have it in time would be very helpful and an easy fix.

just give me the possibilty of 8 bar patterns.
how hard can it be. i like the e2, love the va engine.
made alot of tunes with it but the 4 bar limit is a real drag

my top 3:

pattern gap issue

better voice management (why muted tracks/fx still need cpu?)

yes
and for the E2S the ability to load .all files directly from the SD Card
(with an optimised loading time because it is pretty long currently..)

... and VERY basic features (like copy/paste bars for example!!)

Won't happen, the 4 bars are hardcoded in the file format.
My electribe2 lousy patterns and stuff | KORG gear: NTS-1, nanoKEY2, electribe2/2S, WS/SR, WS/EX (on storage)

oh yes, i forgot copy/paste bars! very basic..
as far i can tell it's possible to load different .all files of you put them in different folders (the loading time is really not nice). though i would prefer a pre listening to samples before loading them.

so my top 5 are:

pattern gap issue

better voice management

8 bars

copy/paste bars

pre listening before loading samples

if this is the case i still would be very happy when the other 4 issues could be implemented..

on the same SD Card??
HOW??!

(I have long dreamed about the 8-bars patterns... but if they fix the pattern gap issue I think I could be satisfy with the pattern switch...)

atm i don't have my e2s here, but as far i can remember: create with your computer new folders and put the .all files in there (because when you save the common .all file will be overwritten). if i remember correctly you can also load an e2sSample.all file with "import sample". does it work?

Great idea!
very funny korg, for shure you never heard about the wish for 8 bars..

seems like korg is playing with our hopes, so lets play with them - who is experienced in creating a petition? lets collect the 10-15 most important issues - maybe in an other thread?

i'm shure when this petition is spread over the internet, there are many users who will sign it!

my 2 implementations would be gate arp and step jump that clocked synced and a step jump hold
I would say better midi filtering but I dont know if thats a result of the midi connectors being jacks
and if possible a midi thru so you can use a keyboard whilst the sequencer is playing to control stuff like the volcas and radias :D
Microkorg, Radias, Mininova, Electribe sampler, kaossilator pro+, kaosspad mini 2, Koassilator 2, monotron, monotron duo, monotron delay, DX100, 2x krk rokit 5, MDX2200, FX2222
