I had the same problem hooking my E2 as master for another rm1x.

The only way I've worked out so far is to run the midi clock from my KP3+ from the midi thru, as that doesn't send note data in normal modes.

Thanks for this reminder to use Midi Monitoring! When I get Ableton to change patterns so I can have new sets of sounds per 16 channels, Imo be real happymusicmagus wrote:The electribe works great hooked up to a daw. Also, Pattern changes can be recorded into the Daw, chopped and rearranged to send back out for sequencing patterns.
Bank Changes use MSB/LSB and are sent on the auto channel.
If you are messing with this stuff do yourself a favor and hook up midi-ox or some other midi monitoring software so you can see whats going on behind the scenes.
