Can't confirm it, yet. The Specifications on the Korg site says:
Set List
Number of Set Lists/Slots
128 set lists, 128 slots per set list.
Each set list provides a 9-band graphic EQ, and a Tone Adjust function that allows program settings to be adjusted.
Transpose setting.
Hold Time setting of Smooth Sound Transition (SST) supported for each slot.
However, I watched the video about the new Set List and didn't see Transpose on any of the screens or menus. It could be part of the Tone Adjust function, mentioned right above it.

You can see the new transpose field in the PG/Combi/Setlist Video at 21:47

There is a transpose function on the Set List EDIT tab. Look at video #2 showing Programs, Combis, and Set Lists. It starts at 21:48:
http://www.korg.com/us/products/synthes ... page_3.php
If you pause the video and look in the upper right corner, you'll see Volume (127), Hold Time (5 sec), and Trans (+0).
This is also where you change the Set List button's color and font.

Hmm... in that case it's not really that cool. They should've added transpose and octave buttons right on the main view... both in Setlist, Combi and Program modes. So you don't have to program them for each program onto SW1/2... really, is it that hard to do?

what does it take ? anyone know ? How many lines of code ? how many software programming hours ? Are there conflicts/restrictions with other sections of the OS ? How much testing would take place if code can be written ?
Or is it simple copy and paste , like a 2 hour software code job ?
Do you know ?

Those kinds of assumptions are hard to make when you don't know how the code was written. In general, transposing the MIDI input is a fairly easy operation that's done in a few lines of code, really. GUI is more work, though.

agreed on we don't know ' how '. but these Korg folk are quite expert would be my fair guess.
it might be fun to hear opinions from other program code experts. sort of break it down for us.

I can only say how it works for Kontakt. GUI and all. It's under a 100 lines of code.

This octave thing is stuck on my mind too.
I just looked under Global Settings, under Function Assign. There you can dedicate a MIDI CC to Octave Up and another to Octave Down.
I think this might work for me, once I figure out *what* to map it to without interfering with some other function...
As an afterthought -- it would have been a cool function if on each main page for Program, Combi, and Set List, if they would have made a couple of "blank" virtual buttons that you could globally map MIDI functions too...

not sure your Kontakt example is a comparable for the ' expert ' opinion I was suggesting.
here are my 2 pennies or less opinion.
adding transpose/octave+/- was not included in the original spec.
just a guess, its difficult/costly, to insert the change now and do a re-write on how to handle it in every mode
