I was pretty happy about 2.1.2... it felt good getting an OS upgrade a few months after I bought my Kronos. The lure of those Funk Soul Brass was too much.

And now 3.0.... Korg must have read my mind when I was thinking of ways to embellish the Set List. I was thinking how cool it would be to assign different colors to the each onscreen set list element... a quick glance could tell you which is a combi, which is a prog, which is a song... all without having to read the tiny font. Who wants to read while jamming?

And that Voice Name List looks pretty sweet. Works well for those of who do covers. And that must be a pretty significant bunch indeed...

Not the CX-3, I know that for a fact for running into this problem head on this WE.

Changed the drawbars, saved the prgm, changes weren't present in the combi. It's pretty obvious too.

But I didn't install the latest patch thought.
Note this sentence: "Tone Adjust settings in the Combi may mask this."

Drawbars are in the CX-3's Tone Adjust assignments by default. In a Combi, this will mask changes to the drawbars at the Program level. Removing the Tone Adjust assignments from the Combi will eliminate the masking; re-loading the Tone Adjust settings from the Program will bring in the Program's settings.
My sincere apology. I didn't realize you were addressing the same issue. I will check it out.

Just reading the news, shouldn't it be EXs18 for the KApro collection? The news mentions EXs19.

It seems to me that the EXs18 - KORG EXs Collections and the EXs19 - KApro collection are two different EXs-expansions. While the EXs18 is stated to be part of the standard set of the new Kronos, the EXs19 is going to be available for download for free for new Kronos owners.

I wonder whether the EXs18 will be free for existing owners too? I guess this expension is needed for (some of) the new programs and combinations in the new voice list. Does someone know more about the EXs18 versus the EXs19?

BTW: Thanks Korg, for this outstanding upgrade policy!

TBD = To Be Determined. Most likely not going to be free.

Yes, I find this puzzling too as the news talked about EXs19 when up to now we were talking about EXs17 and EXs18.

Could someone at Korg clear up this point please? Thanks.

And EXs19 is NOT free for current owners...it is $49 until end of December and then goes up to $99. EXs18 is a mystery right now, ha.
