Hey Bald Eagle thanks for the info.
Makes me wish I would have waited, I just bought a 12 core Mac Pro in January. Actually I can't complain I love my 1st Mac.

I like it, don't know anything about this processor though. Still I am curious how it will perform once released. I sadly watched the whole apple event and was underwhelmed. Still I like what they have done.

I am wondering how portable it could be, durability etc. It isn't big and it doesn't have moving parts. Almost all hotels I go use lcd tv now with external jacks, not ideal but usable a few hours a night. I know a crazy though, probably not pursuing, but it has caught my attention so I have to look into it.

I don't know if you are still subscribed for MacPro Video but I found another site that I find a little user friendly which is called Groove 3 . They also have a wide variety of videos. Very well done.

I kept Mac Pro video for a few four months and cancelled. I watched what I wanted but it was a waste for me without actually having the software to work with. Still a good site I will go back to when needed! I'm going to try maschine tutorials next. I will check out groove thanks!

Groove 3 videos seems to me more geared to the hobbyist which helps me a lot. I still like MacPro Video as well but I seem to get more out of Groove 3.

Well, Hobbyist certainly describes me! Very little talent for the performing side but I sure have fun making noise! :D

I like it as well, but I am not sure how well it would sell?

You can now order the new Mac Pro on the Apple site. They are already back ordered until February. Just for fun I configured one with all available hardware options. It was $14,331.00. :!:

Wow! A bit high for me! But a more entry level one might be a good choice!
