NanoPad2 with Kronos Question

To be honest the Kronos is very nice but the lack of pads hurt. I have come to rely on the M3 pads for all sorts of musical exploration and their shear ease of use. I am currently buying an 88key M3 so I can have double the pads with that ease of use. I am going to put two rack module M3s next each other and control both from the same 88key. If Korg would consider putting the Chord memory assignment function on a lower keysplit we could get around not having the pads and they could still keep cost down...... but for now not having assignable chords on anything but the screen is a deal breaker.
