Kronos codes for Oasys owners expiring soon

Hi t_tangent
In the original letter from Korg (near the bottom) there is a code.
Just cut and paste that and send to the recipient.
They then input the code during the checkout process (which deducts the purchase from the remaining credits until none are left).
Seemed to work smoothly when I gave my credits.
That's good of you to volunteer them - thank you!

Basically, you have a code valid for $xxx depending on what you bought in the past. The maximum amount this voucher can give you is $750. So Korg sent you an email with a code looking like "asfjhwq3iu79fa87" and a value attached. This can be redeemed when you buy Kronos EXs or KRS expansions via the online shop at korg.com/kronos.
So if you're not going to buy a Kronos, these codes will be useless to you since they can only be used to purchase Kronos expansions.
The vouchers can be redeemed by anyone. You don't need to be the original recipient of the codes to use them. So basically, any Kronos owner can log in, select Kronos expansions to buy, and use the code given to him when checking out. The code can be used partially, fully or as part of a larger sum to pay. For example, if you have a $100 voucher, you can use it to buy just a $50 bank (if you have everything else), two $50 banks, or a $150 bank with $50 remaining to pay via visa/mastercard.
It's up to you to decide how you give this, but if you don't have a buddy who has a Kronos, then I suggest giving them to people who register an interest.
Myself and mohous have benefited, so X-Trade and BasariStudios are next. And so on...

From what I understand, the Oasys libraries are now free. Not sure exactly how you get them, but you can unlock those that used to be for sale.SoulBe wrote:now I found out, that there is to register a bought Kronos before you can purchasing the libs and use your Oasys codes.
Am I´m doing something wrong or can´t I buy now the libraries and maybe later on a Kronos?
This means the codes are only valid to purchase Kronos expansions since you don't have to purchase free Oasys expansions.
My post was may a bit missunderstading... I have the 750 § code from Korg, ´cos I bought all Oasys expansions.
My Oasys is working fine, no need to buy a Kronos yet.
But I thought, that I can use my credit now to buy the Kronos expansion on stock to have them if I later have to buy a Kronos when my Oasys is dying.
But this does not seem to be possible .... funny again the Oasys users are screwed ... buy a Kronos even if your Oasys is working or you cannot use your credits?
If this is so then I´m of course giving away my credits for free, because I won´t give this company any cent more
best regards

Hi Cello and Francois, Thanks for the replies. Can you tell me the rough date when that original letter was sent out, as the only letter I can find here at the moment is dated July 29th 2011, and there are no codes in this letter. But I am sure I received another letter which did have some mention of codes valid for $xxx somewhere, and the envelope had a gold embossed Korg logo. I just cant find it, but will keep looking. I wonder if they emailed a copy as well and will look through that as well.
Cheers

Hi Soulbe,
Haha, yes, I just found it now.
It says these are credits for purchasing Korg-produced KRONOS Sound Libraries only so hopefully that sounds correct.
Anyway, thanks for that, and the next question is who is next in line to receive these. I think Basari was the last person to ask when I posted,or was there anyone before.
Cheers guys

Yeah, Basari is the next on the line... Now how about every member who has got the codes reply with the amount received and we begin setting a minimal and maximum amount to give? This way, everyone can get some advantage and we make sure everyone has the same fair benefit
