404bekawe: I've never had the pleasure of playing around with an M3 so I don't know what it does with it's pad assignments/triggers.
I've switched to using a nanopad to trigger the pads in the Kronos as that's easier and more convenient than using the keyboard and I wanted to get the functionality of the M3 pads with the Kronos ....
I know that's not much help to you though ...

Thank you anyway, Sparker.
My need is to play the left 3 or 4 keys (triggering pads) close to the 'joystick' to use it..
Perhaps one of the Korg guru's would comment ?

I just had a look at the M3 Parametr Guide .pdf
I was looking for an equivalent function to the Kronos' triggering pads by note/key. As far as I could see on the M3 only the pads could trigger a note/CC/chord; however notes can't trigger the pads. (Pg 382 of the Parameter Guide)

Yes indeed, not what I hoped for, but there is no way with the current OS to do so.
You're right. -_-
I watched the well done video tutorials (5x on YT) for the Krome.
Aside from some new things/options you can do with that WS, the root of the functions are the same and apply to the M3 too.
I'm stuck with the M3 because I like the pads, the XY mode option on the touch screen (DJ option
) and that I can swap the M3 module from a 61 key's to an 88 keyboard within seconds...
