I'm not that confident this is a software problem. If this was the case, then
every Kronos out there would suffer for this... Yes, you can adjust the software to reduce the issue, but this is certainly something related with hardware... Better for Korg if this can solved just with software... otherwise, then a recall may be needed.
You have a point there....

From what I have read it looks like the keybed has 3 problems. Clicking problem, notes being cutoff and some kind of damper software problem.
Maybe, but Robbinhood has the 61 keys... when I upgrade the RAM I'll check out

Just a thought:
In Europe the price difference between the K61 and the K88 is €700.
For €479 you can have a
Studiologic VMK-188 Plus with a Fatar TP40 GH keybed.
So, for less than a K88 you can have a K61 *and* a very good piano action type master keyboard...

Is it just me, am I the only one seeing this? The protection card is still wedged in front of the keys.

Kronos 88 and RH3 keyboard faulty

I have a Kronos 73, serial #458. I believe I have this same problem, with notes cutting off. At first I thought it's eating polyphony with layered patches, but I'm not so sure anymore.
I'm going to test with just a single piano program with no damper pedal.
Will post my results.

Yes, when I took that picture, the spacer cards were still there
After that, I calibrated aftertouch, half damper and touch screen.

FROM Japan".
So, unless Korg states otherwise, the keybed could be made in China or in Turkey or anywhere else and still come FROM Japan with your Kronos...

I ask several direct questions about the kebed when they were first intrdused and what i rember being told that it was korgs finest and that they were made in japan i have k88 sn 161 and have had no problems thus far.
