I definitely want to include as much as possible in the conversion and since I used to have a Triton Extreme 61 it very near and dear to my heart- thus the precedence of its inclusion.jimknopf wrote:Not for me: I never had a Triton.![]()
Legacy VA patch conversion is much more useful for me.
The Polysix conversion is the best place for me to start since its program and bank size in both the Legacy Collection and in Kronos EXi programs is small enough to be an ideal starting point. I'm about 90%+ on the conversion and have figured out what to omit and what to include.
To start with, I'm excluding the unison/detune functions from the automated conversion since it crosses from the EXi program data over into the common parameter area and I want to be as concise as possible right out of the gate. Ultimately, though, I want to include this and all of the effect parameters as well.
I'm also keeping all of the extra LFO and EG parameters pegged to the Init parameters (from an EXi Init program) since the Legacy Collection doesn't make use of these anyhow.
I'll continue to keep everyone posted but keep those ideas coming!! Thanks much and happy music-making!
