No ear wax will help you because it's the brain that hears sounds.

I completely forgot something!

If you want to have a very different experience with the Korg M50 pianos, try going into the global setting mode and adjust the velocity parameter of the keys.

I find that the harder velocity settings (that is to say, the setting that requires you to strike the key harder to achieve a given timbre) make the M50 behave differently, and make the pianos sound a little more mellow and warm.

It could very well be the trick that Brian473317 needs to make his M50 sound like he wants it to...although we haven't heard back from him since August, so I wonder if he's watching this thread anymore?

I know I am loving my M50 piano's. So many to choose from so many great options. Nothing can be a real piano yes, but nothing to complain about for sure. I do enjoy editing all of the sounds on any board however, It is what makes the darned thing MINE>.... Do not be afraid of your own sounds people and you will get interesting and worthwhile results I can promise you. Now go get your fingers busy tweaking up some ear candies. :D

pitty that no ear cleaner can cure me.....but i can tell u i have created velocity based combi with 7 layers of velocity based dynamic switching from very very soft touch level to tremendously hard strike ....and this combi is very sensitive to touch and i am very happy with that....long live korg :D

The M50 is probably the best overall midrange workstation at the moment.

16 part comibs, touchscreen, the effects system as on the M3 (5IFX, 2MFX, 1TFX) etc...
