Dont be so opposite to this upgrade, its safe, but its "do it on ur risk" for those ppl who dont understand tehnic werry well... and i forgot to say this...
in my area almost everybody did this, and no1 had any problem....

and there is simpler upgrade instead of this...
u just have to buy floppy usb emulator and to load o.s. v20 from pa800, and keyboard will recognize 2x32 mb ram in its slots, no need for any hardware change...

here is the pic

hi my dear friend and I saw the picture and it's not .. I still do not understand. over there in this thread of this talk is coming from someone who is very risky all this memories "32mb" this is not possible that Pa1X is not designed to withstand such "32mb" .. I no longer know what to think. and I have serious doubts about all this ... what do you think? ... I know very little about all this .... sorry
........... ......best regards
it imagines to all people living peacefully

PA1X is designed for EDO ram modules, but it's softvare has limitation on max 16mb per each module... so that means no matter how much memory u insert in each slot, ur keyboard only can see 16mb... try to put 32mb module in any slot, keyboard will only see 16mb from module... so that means that this is SOFTWARE LIMITATION!!! And it can be removed with loading newer os from pa800... what u dont get there??? Or u can do other way, with changing controlers on EXB slots but that is from 150-200 euros.
Both ways are working, just u have to do what u can afford.
