Then you got it. It controls the volume of upper one because it"s on midi channel 1. With the 2 controls on the headset you can control the intensity and the gain level.

ADJUST THE 2 CONTROLLERS ON THE HEADSET. PUT THEM IN THE MIDDLE AND TRY AND ADJUST ACCORDINGLY. MAKE SURE THE MIDIS ARE CONNECTED BEFORE YOU TURN THE MACHINE ON.

One more thing: go to GLOBAL settings, MIDI, on the bottom choose Midi In Channel (3rd from left), put CH01: "UPPER" instead of "Ply.1 Tr 01" that is by default. Save it as "My setup" or any other name.
Then adjust the Gain and Offset on the headset.
This should defiantly resolve your problem. Good luck.

I've finally succeeded to connect the BC3 on my X2, it was stuck with dust that's why it didn't work lol :D
