You know, I found it pretty incredible that I was able to get an M50 for $500 off the list price, with a stand and a pedal. You have to wonder, eh? No communication from the company, no upgrades, not much of anything. Curious.

Meanwhile, Yamaha haven't released an updated the OS for the MO6/8 since 2006! They sure dropped the ball on that one, eh?

Some dude on some other forum claimed that the M50 was currently the best-selling workstation at one of the large outlets (Guitar Center? Sweetwater? - can't remember). Who knows what to believe on the internet, but this seems believable to me. I'm guessing the M50 will be in production for several more years to come.

And, FYI, I give a rat's ass about what Yamaha does for his customers: I own a Korg, not a Yamaha.
