Harmonia,
The rest of us on this forum are delighted with our M3's, so many forum members including me are surprised by your criticisms - unless your comments are based on a faulty or incorrectly configured M3.
This is the spec of the M3 XPanded that you have at the moment. Which other keyboard on the market has more varied or better quality sounds at the same price?

I just need to ask that how did you end up buying the M3 in the first place? Didn't you have enough time to test it or what were you overall expectations of the M3?
And I don't mean to bully you with these

I'm just interested because you have had quite a lot of experience from different synths.

Combi Piano for Korg M3 Expanded - By Alê Sasa

Hello !
This combination actually is ready to run with 2 Programs EX-PCM04 (V1 Stereo Piano). As I don´t know if you have loaded it in the User-F, I left off these ones in track 4 and track 6 of the combi. (In my opinion, the result is still nice...).
To activate them, only change to STATUS ON the track 04 and 06, OK? Otherwise you can play without then.
Even without EX-PCM04, you'll notice right away that I left with more brightness than the factory sounds. As the target was the piano, there is a drum and set the Karma only one scene, but activated a few sliders to change the Karma effects, ok?!
Inputs 1 and 2 are set to microphone (with 2 FX).

I hope you enjoy it!
Best Regards
Alê

I'm a little confused... these samples from the Triton EXB are all pretty nice, the the M3's EP programs seem rather comparable to what's from the Triton. WHICH of those EPs are you looking for? I honestly think the M3's are better quality than those of the Tritons (i did own a triton extreme for a few years). As others have mentioned, you need to download this PCG, it has some pretty great EP and clav programs on it.
Please try the programs in this PCG file, it's stickied at the top of the M3 forum:
http://www.korg.com/uploads/Download/M3 ... 610000.zip
I've used most of the korg synths at some point, the T3, 01/W, and Tritons were all something special, but in my opinion the M3 puts them all to shame in terms of quality. If the M3 isn't doing it for you, you really should get yourself a nice Yamaha XS or something comparable.

hehehhehe i had motif xs6 and exchanged it with korg m3...problem is this that old korg's keyboard are better then now (nooo in quality sureee but in voice's choice) but all depends in flavor ok.But just original voice called DGWS is a legenddddd of EP (example in 01w fd,t3,m1),in OSC ROM sounds i find a voice called E.PIANO like a DGWS but it have a very diferent sound and so much wild

for that i ask goona have some new EXB of EP or we stop'd just on exb1,2,3,4, thanks

yes, M3 gives you not only the brand new sounds and sounds character, but gives you high flexibility to expand your own sound
so be patient for waiting the community create the samples, or be patient to learn the great feature of M3's sampling utility
i remember that there is the Korg Extreme, Triton, and Trinity samples in NI or Sampletank format. If you really want to use them, you can convert those samples using any sample converter such as Extreme Sampler or Awave Sample converter
