Not acceptable to be having this problem on a brand new instrument. Get the dealer to replace it.

There has not been any such official announcement, and in fact the Kronos is still alive and well on the Music Workstations page of Korg USA, right alongside the Nautilus. In fact, looking at the page right now they list the Kronos, Kronos Titanium and Kronos LS.
Well, we'll have to agree to disagree.
Korg UK's web site has no mention of anything in the Kronos line, and several retailers over this side of the pond are actively stating that the Kronos is no longer available or discontinued (not just out of stock).

Korg UK have moved all info on the Kronos line to the graveyard that is Product Archives - and to add to that, you can no longer purchase a Kronos directly from Korg UK

Alrighty then. And to counter, here’s a link to the Korg USA Synthesizers/Workstations page I mentioned:

Glad I live in the USA.
As NAMM is coming up in a week, I suppose we might have an announcement or at least some relative information at that time, hopefully.
As I stated, I’ve yet to see an official announcement from the manufacturer one way or the other, so until I do I’ll hold off on spouting misinformation as fact. There’s been a world-wide shortage of chips, components and other materials, so it is entirely feasible that the constraint has supply-side origins.
That being said, the platform is extremely long in tooth and is long overdue for a suitable replacement. We’ve been expecting one for several years, but of course Covid put a pause on most everything in the works.
IMHO, Nauty is not the Kronos replacement but only time will tell where Korg goes next.

There are no Korg presentations scheduled for this event. The "NAMM 2022 Gear Sneak Peek" might give a bit of a tease, though ;-)

Fingers crossed. I was disappointed when I saw the schedule, and was hoping they might make some announcement outside of the official schedule similar to the Mackie tease.
