The music is good. It's a shame that Korg have placed "humor" so high on the rating scale that people have to flop chicken-style in hope of being noticed.
I don't get what your criticism is here not only was the music awesome but the dudes performance was entertaining as hell!
goes to show that some people not only like theirs, they are doing cool s**t with it! and haters still gonna hate!

This is another good one!

I still love Hunting Manner ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NuUcBbpm84&app=desktop )

But these 2 are on equal footing. Really show some serious live skills here.

It's not hate. The music is very good but his mannerisms are exaggerated, probably because "humor" accounts for 25% of the vote, which basically makes me not want to watch any of the entries. I'm not interested in people trying to be funny; I'm interested in fantastic music.

yes I agree, im not down with the humor rating at all. its definitely not hating. what it means is that you'll have spot on amazing performances that won't have a chance if the poster isn't doing something "humorous" to account for the score. bah I say, bah.

I agree with this, too.

Nothing wrong with a guy being entertaining or funny if he can combine that with performance and music skills.

But to force it? Most of us are introverts and we're just fine that way. In fact, the beauty of a strong community is that I can come here, be all strange and weird and yet be appreciated.

Don't slap on a behaviour that forces us to be someone we're not. There's American Idol for that.

On the other hand, it is a performance contest not a song writing contest, that's one reason they want video and not audio submissions. As much as I hate doing it myself (and rarely do) when I play live, if you're going to enter a performance contest, I'd think you'd want the emphasis on being entertaining.

Just be glad Beardyman isn't entering, he'd slay everyone when it comes to funny AND musically awesome:

This guy hit me up on YouTube. It turns out, we are from the same hometown and actually knew each other well twenty years ago. God bless the internet! =)

Yeah, In my defense as I am the guy in the video, I am very known to be high energy and naturally funny. Really not trying to wow them with my "chicken dance" It was me naturally being my animated self and going ape s**t like I do anyways. In any case, You just happen to see me exaggerating it (doing the tut?!?!) With all that aside..I just ordered the Electribe sampler on ebay for a pretty smokin' deal..And Im literally about to slay these machines and record more videos for youtube (with less ridiculousness of course)

Also, Is there a mod around that can edit my username to just "Diasporah" I dont know why I put my email suffix in my username, epic fail.. But don't be shy if you want to hit me up or hear any of my studio tunes.

Naturally funny eh? Go on tell us a joke then.....

Hey fella, i just checked out your video. That is a fierce little tune and if i made it, i'd be doing pretty much the same.

Don't ever fight the feeling!!

And please hang out here...
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Volca Sample, FM, Beats, Kick. OP-1, Monologue, Pocket Operators. And an ipad.
