Looks like the identical display of th eKronos itself (probably higher resolution since a computer monitor has normally more pixels).
I hope though there is a bit more possible regarding librarian functionality.

Developer of the free PCG file managing application for most Korg workstations: PCG Tools, see https://www.kronoshaven.com/pcgtools/
Looks gorgeous!
But it will only be useable, if the Direct-X driver will be replaced by a fully functional Asio-Driver for the Kronos USB connection. I hope, that developing a proper Asio driver for the USB-connection is the main reason for the meanwhile incredibly long delay of the VSTi delivery.

Who knows, maybe one of the (presumably many) reasons for the delay is also the introduction of Mac OS 10.7 Lion last july..
Paul: Don't be nervous.
John: I'M NOT NERVOUS!!!
John: I'M NOT NERVOUS!!!
And if so, why they would not release the Windows version already ? - I really think that the only reason is the NAMM...curvebender wrote:jimknopf wrote:I hope, that developing a proper Asio driver for the USB-connection is the main reason for the meanwhile incredibly long delay of the VSTi delivery.

Think about it: releasing one version before the other (Mac/Windows) would upset a lot of people on the "wrong" side.MRedZac wrote:And if so, why they would not release the Windows version already ? - I really think that the only reason is the NAMM...curvebender wrote:jimknopf wrote:I hope, that developing a proper Asio driver for the USB-connection is the main reason for the meanwhile incredibly long delay of the VSTi delivery.

And ? - Isn´t it better to upset only some people than all people ? What the hell is the point for Windows user to wait, just because Apple is releasing another os... ?curvebender wrote:Think about it: releasing one version before the other (Mac/Windows) would upset a lot of people on the "wrong" side.MRedZac wrote:And if so, why they would not release the Windows version already ? - I really think that the only reason is the NAMM...curvebender wrote:

The worst thing of it all is, that Korg does not hand out any clear information... All the sales people keep telling since months, that maybe the next day it will be released and everybody keeps waiting and waiting for it... It would be much better, if Korg would have some kind of "Bugzilla" - Database, where everybody could see, what is the actual status and why it is not released, yet. This would make a lot of things more understandable, but like this, sorry, no understanding anymore from my side at all.
The picture shows how the plug-in will look in Cubase ...

If I would pay only 90% of the Kronos price at once, when I received the synth, keeping the rest for the moment, stating "I will pay it 'soon', don't yet know exactly", would Korg wait half a year, and then ask politely if I would be so kind to pay the rest, perhaps until Namm?zengomi wrote:Patience is time-tested virtue that a venerable company such as Korg might expect of its customers. Well, most of them
And would I answer with the wisdom of ages: "Patience is a time-tested virtue that a venerable customer such as me might expect of his music gear companies. Well, most of them..."???

Yes, Korg would certainly be very patient in this case.

Nah, hardly. If patience was the answer they would've been patient and released it all at once. Releasing the keyboard before the upgrades/editor was someone(s) deciding that (after all the "we need money for this project now" numbers are crunched): hmm, if we release this now to get it to market, how much bitching are we going to have to deal with? Ok, that's an acceptable number.zengomi wrote:Patience is time-tested virtue that a venerable company such as Korg might expect of its customers. Well, most of them
We're only doing what's expected of us, after all.

Did you buy your 73 despite the delay (of the promised editor/VST plugin)? I did. I'm a patient fellow.jimknopf wrote:If I would pay only 90% of the Kronos price at once, when I received the synth, keeping the rest for the moment, stating "I will pay it 'soon', don't yet know exactly", would Korg wait half a year, and then ask politely if I would be so kind to pay the rest, perhaps until Namm?zengomi wrote:Patience is time-tested virtue that a venerable company such as Korg might expect of its customers. Did you? Are you?
