Yes. It has better Sequencer then Kronos and also you can do the Sliders
and Knobs onscreen...same as on the M3. You can expand the notes inside
the editor with finger e tc...cool. We dont know specs yet.

Yep, saw that too. I know there's a few Kronos people out there that have been hoping for the editor to be updated to piano-roll style.

I've been checking out a few of the Japanese manual videos (though I don't know the language). Here's the other things I've noticed.

5 IFX, 2 MFX, 1 TFX for both prog & combi mode (I assume the same for the sequence mode)

A dedicated arpegiator - no Karma.

They don't seam to be pushing smooth transition changes between patches. So I assume that's not there.

Only four assignable knobs, no slider, just two assignable buttons, no vector joystick.

One engine - sample playback. No idea if you can load your own.

I can only guess that they'll have to bring the price down very low - but the touch screen would add a bit to the price.
Latest Set Up: Kronos 61, Casio Privia, Korg TR61, EoWave Ribbon, Roli Rise 48, TEC Breath Controller, StudioLogic MP-117 Bass Pedals, Moog Theremini.
Past Instruments of Construction: Hammond A100 w/Leslie 760, Korg R3, Roland AxSynth, Korg Poly61, Korg M1, Univox MaxiKorg, Korg MS2000, (2) Moog Concertmate MG1, (2) Hammond X5, Rhodes Mark I & 2, Farfisa Compact, Yamaha S08, Casio SK1, Strymon Mobius, Custom Bass Pedals, Burns B3 Theremin.

Only PCM based, no KARMA, no Sampler.....

Sounds like an M50 replacement.

Regards
Sharp.

It's a tongue twister - try saying Korg Krome five times fast.

I wonder what future Kro--- name keyboards will be in this family?

Yeah, even the interface looks M50-ish in design.

I wonder if that means similar pricing?

Or at least a cross between Kronos and M50. Hmmm... and I appear to be talking to myself.

Certainly not a Kronos light, .
Other than the piano roll, and the color touch/drag screen it does seem like it is definately the M50 beefed up just a bit. I would definately not be trading my M50 for one of these, especially since I have the M50 karmafied.
I still want a Kronos however.

Definitely a response to Yamaha's MOX. I would guess the 88-key to sell at 1899USD or so.
