ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is nothing wrong with Korgs customer/technical support. I have them on auto-dial on my cell. I have never waited more than 5 mins to get the CORRECT help on the phone. It's great! I end up talking with some of the sound designers on some of the products (electribes). I get e-mails when I need help, and they have been nothing but a great support system. Just because we are not seeing a new version of the KP3 firmware does not mean Korg needs to clean up their support services. Out of all their products it seems KP3 got the most attention in regards to software upgrades and to think that they actually took even 1 of our suggestions into considerations I think was pretty damn cool. Yes I'm the one who keeps screaming for a multi-effect option but to be honest with you I'm very happy with the current upgrade.

It's been several years now since KP3's release, so I don't expect an new wish list to go thru anytime soon. What I do expect after seeing the test market trials of Kaossilator and the DS-10 is an ultimate kaoss pad that incorporates everything from kaossilator, DS-10 (including 2 screens) and the KP3 effects and Sampler into one expensive but awesome triton like Kaoss pad system...looking about double the price of what your are used to spending on a KP3.

Sorry I just had to say something after reading all these fun post about how BAD Korg support is...what Bravo Sierra!

I can't really say they are bad since I never heard from them..
Could you please check with them if there are any upcoming updates? There's no point for us to wait for something if they aren't working on it.

Well I just called Korg New York...here's the skinny:

First off Korg has been getting all of your suggestions and are always open to more. They recommended this forum (of course) and that some reps check out the threads.

The bad news is that while Korg does get your responses and ideas they just send them to the engineers in Japan. See, that's where all the goods are created and all the software is developed. Simply put Korg US is just a distributer.

I asked if there was anything coming down the pip-line for the KP3 but nothing has been mentioned.

IMHO I would not hold your breath for anymore KP3 updates. It's just about time for a new Kaoss Pad.

Feel free to give these guys a call during regular est time hours: 631-390-8737

Like I said, the techs there are very helpful and quite knowledgeable.
