Drawbar organ

I am not very proficient at settings for the drawbar organ.

Could anyone suggest settings please that sounds like the organ solo in Don’t Dream It’s Over, by Crowded House.

It sounds very much like Procol Harum's Whiter Shade of Pale organ sound.

It's quite a mellow sounding organ, so the higher overtones have been dialled out. Maybe start with 888000000 or similar, perhaps 888400002 to brighten it a bit.

Elsewhere in the track, the organ becomes brighter. Something like 848432244.

The rotary speaker gets used, too, but it gets "blipped" on and off, and doesn't run up to speed.

Sorry for delay - this is what I use for Don't Dream:-

DRAWBAR ORGAN
Drawbars: 585000000
Rotary ON
Perc ON SLOW/SOFT
Leakage, Key-on/off levels - ALL OFF
Mic Balance - all at 50
Overdrive:
....Gain 22
....Tone 6
....Level 40
....Cabinet ON

This seems to work nicely bringing the rotary speed up and down during the number

You may also like to try the same as above with drawbars 888400000
I use this for "Green Onions" although it is not quite like the original sound.

Out of interest, I took my PA4x to my friend's studio (who has many keyboards) and we did a direct comparison of my PA4x DRAWBARS with is Hammond XC3 and his Nord Stage 4 and we could not tell the difference in several tests!!!! He was very impressed.
