Can someone walk me thru setting up aftertouch on my AT to have overall volume fade out? In this case, I'm using program H084, Stereo Strings. I have not been able to find info or tutorial for this.
Thank you.

Re: Aftertouch-Set up for volume fade out
There are a couple of ways. The first is to go to the filter page for each oscillator - Filter 1 and Filter 2. On each page, you will see LEVEL. Next to that is AMS. Select Aftertouch and set INTENSITY to -99. Do it for both.
The other way is to go to the IFX page. Go to the INSERT IFX tab. There are already 3 IFX in use. Chain IFX3 to IFX4 by checking the box next to IFX3. Turn IFX4 on. Select STEREO COMPRESSOR.
Now go to the IFX 1-12 tab. If you don't see Stereo Compressor, select IFX4. Towards the bottom of the compressor settings, set GAIN ADJUST to -INF.
Set WET/DRY to DRY. Next to that is SOURCE, select Aftertouch. For AMOUNT, select +100.

Re: Aftertouch-Set up for volume fade out
Mike, thank you very much for the info! I set up the first way and it works, however the volume change is a step change to zero volume when pressing the keys down harder. I was looking to gradually fade out the sound... maybe not possible? Again, thank you for your help. Mark

Re: Aftertouch-Set up for volume fade out
You should be able to slowly apply pressure and get that long fade out. I am able to do it, but I'm using an external keyboard, because my Nautilus is not the aftertouch model.
Go to GLOBAL - BASIC page and try a different AFTERTOUCH CURVE setting.
Also, in the program, you can go back to Filter Levels (there are 4 on this program Lowpass/Bandpass) and instead of Aftertouch, select AMS Mixer 1. Now go to the AMS Mix tab and you will see the AMS Mixer 1 is set up for SMOOTHING. What that does is smooth out you Aftertouch response. You can increase the attack and delay response times.
