Korg Pa2X gives SSD Media Error when powered on

Hi,

When I power on my Korg Pa2X Pro, the LCD screen shows this error message:

SSD Media Error
Format SSD?
Press MEDIA Button to Conform.

How should I proceed?

1.

Should I format my SSD?

2.

Should I replace the SSD with this 128GB Patriot SSD?

Hi,

I found the source of the problem.
The internal Fujitsu 80GB SATA 2.5” Hard Drive had failed. It would not spin up when I tested it.

I replaced this faulty HDD with the Patriot 120GB 2.5” SSD. I formatted this brand new SSD to exFAT.

I checked the battery voltage. It is 3 volts.

I think I am very close to getting my Pa2X Pro operational. Just need a little more hand holding from you guys.


When I power up the Pa2X, I immediately get this error message

So I press the MEDIA Button.

I see that it is formatting the NAND.
Then I see this message.

I have copied these two files to my USB drive

Pa2X_Format.pkg
Pa2X_os_res_v202.pkg

My objective is to Format the Internal SSD Memory and then reinstall the OS and Musical Resources.

I power on the Pa2X while holding down the [INTRO 1] button.

I get this error message again.

I cannot get to this screen.

Every time I try to Power Up while holding down the [INTRO 1] button, the exact same error message shows up.

Could you tell me how I should proceed?
