Does anyone knoww if Sharp has anything to do with this forum anymore? I see the software is different and slower.

Re: Sharp
I think we should just be grateful that the forum is still running, at all. I think it is largely down to Sharp, plus a handful of volunteer mods. As far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to rely on any content distribution network to speed access.
If it's any comfort, Google maps journey routing has recently become exceedingly slow to calculate routes. At one time, it used to do the job at lightning speed.
There are quite a few delays in the various internet hops along the route to the host server:

Same software package, phpBB. Things looks different because we jumped up about a decade worth of updates in one go.
Yes, the server performance seems so be very slow quite often. As it's been for the last 10 years or so, KORG USA are still hosting the forum, but we have moved to a new server. So yes, we are on a different machine. I'm very grateful for KORG's support in keeping us alive too given we run this place entirely for free and can't pay for our own server. I'll have a chat with KORG and see if there's anything that can be done about the performance issues.
And yes, I'm still here
Sharp.
