Krome angled keys?
I just bought a krome and it works great. However, when I sit the keyboard on top of my new stand, the keys are angled back. The stand is level so I had to put 2 inch blocks on the back of the stand to make the keys level. Does anyone else have this issue or am I just crazy?
Which Krome is it? Could it be that the feet at the front of the keyboard are sitting on the stand, whilst the feet at the rear are not? Needing a 2" block to support the rear to make the keys level seems a bit excessive.
I use a 2" block at the back of a Wavestate keyboard, but that is put there to make the control surface more visible from a sitting position. The keys are definitely angled forwards, when this is done. The keys are more or less level when the board is placed on a level surface.
The Korg M50, from which the Krome is derived, has keys that slope back at around 4 degrees (61 key version), when the board is placed on a level surface. A 2" block to raise the rear of the M50 would give the keys quite a pronounced forward slope. I don't have a Krome here to check if that is similar.

It’s definitely a two inch difference from dead level. I put a level on the keys and started raising the back until the keys were level. Two inches. I just don’t get it. No feet on the front either. I laid the Krome on my granite counter with the same results. It’s like it was designed for an angled stand playing while standing. Very odd. Thanks for the reply.
Wow, having looked at a few images of the Krome on eBay listings and the like, there is a definite slope downwards of the keys to the rear, which I hadn't appreciated when playing it. It might give some advantage when played from a standing position.
I've checked the key levels on a handful of other keyboards, and they are all less than half a degree from horizontal, at rest. We're talking boards like the Korg M1, Wavestation, Kronos, KONTROL49, and the Radias RD-KB.
