Hi!
I have a question about using my Minilogue XD with my SQ-1.
Is there a way to transpose/change the key of the sequense from the SQ-1 by using the Minilogue XD? As an example, if the sequense is in C, can it be changed to E if I press the E-key on the Minilogue XD?
I have tried to connect the SQ-1 via CV and MIDI but can’t figure out how to get it to change the key of the sequense during a song
Thanks for any help

No. Simply pressing a key on the Minilogue XD won't work. It will just play that note on the Minilogue XD. The internal Arpeggiator on the Minilogue XD might work this way, but there is no way of feeding back that note signal to the SQ-1 output.
There is a Transpose setting in the Global menus which may work, although it may only act on keyboard input.
An alternative, might be to use a simple analogue adder circuit in the CV signal path from SQ-1 to Minilogue XD. There are also Mixer modules available in Modular synth setups, that could be used. The mixer would need to be set for unity gain, and the CV signal mixed with a DC offset signal. Something like:

An analogue adder circuit would be quite simple to build for an electronics tech, using an op amp and a handful of other components.

There's also this MIDI processor, which could be built, and used to process the MIDI Out from the SQ-1. It would be connected between the SQ-1 MIDI Out, and the Minilogue XD's MIDI In, and is self powered from the MIDI ports, so no extra power supply would be required:

The DIP switches could be substituted for by a BCD rotary switch, so that turning the knob would change the transpose amount.
Another possibility is the SQ-64, which has a Transpose function, if upgrading is an option.
