Kaossilator 1 - playback stops on fixing or canceling loop

Hi all! It's honor for me to write to a such great community! :)

Yes, I'm talking about this old good stuff Kaossilator KO-1 :) I don't understand one thing. When I've recorded one Loop and I want to Fix (save) it – playback stops! And I have to press Play again. The same thing if I want to Cancel last recorded layer – playback stops! But it's horrible – it absolutely destroys "performance" – pauses for 2-3 seconds are not acceptable.

Tell me please I'm an idiot? What thing I understand wrong? Is there any workaround or I don't know..
