Newbie question: set list comments
Hi, i suspect i know the answers already..but…
1. Is there any way of importing comments from a file of some sort?
2. Is there a way of using special characters?…e.g the Flat or Sharp symbol would bd very useful!
Thanks

Hi there,
IIRC you will find the available special characters when you push on shift and other special keys, etc. Note that you can also plug a USB computer keyboard in the Kronos so to type quicker instead of using the LCD screen.
Also, about importing/copying setlists text and comments, there is a great little freeware for this called Onksor made by a fellow here (uhura). Search posts done by him and send him a PM to get his program (his Web site link seems down right now). I have it on my PC but I prefer you contact the creator directly.

Use a lower-case b for a flat symbol.
I often use the Kronos Remote app on iPad to edit setlists. You can edit the comments on there pretty easily, and they will import to Kronos when you upload the setlist to the Kronos. But beware, I have frequently had stuff that I put in the comments using Kronos Remote on the iPad get mangled after uploading them to Kronos. They might be some special characters that Kronos doesn't understand, and when Kronos tries to display them you get a bunch of hieroglyphics.
I highly recommend the Kronos Remote app. It is useful in many ways. You can import pdf and (I think) jpgs as supplements to the setlist slots that you can view on the iPad. Great for charts and stuff that isn't text-friendly. But those image files won't upload to Kronos... You can only view them on the iPad that is running Kronos Remote.

Yes, my site was deleted, and since apparently nobody was interested in it anymore, I didn't put any more work into it. I have now uploaded it here https://thefinalcut.de/onksor.exeKK wrote:Hi there,
