Man that sounds amazing and looks like a beast. Several folks have mentioned it coming in around $13,000 USD. Consider I saw an original on Reverb for $98,000, this is quite a bargain :-)
Synth Wars - The Rise of the ARP 2600, OBX8 Kenobi - The Return of the Synth, MoogClaraVox, Criklon V2, in living color, Moog Model D, Neuman U67, 1961 Hammond C3 Brother of B , PS3300, to Poly Infinity and Beyond !!!

Sure, no problem. I'm sure there will be a huge market for it. :)
Speaking about the Karma software - are people still buying it?
Ever thought of offering at a substantial discount / freeware it?
I sell a copy every now and then - but it no longer runs on MacOS later than Mojave. Still runs on Windows.

But more importantly, I'm in the middle of a complete rewrite that will be 64-bit, compatible with all the latest Windows and Mac software, able to run as a plugin or a plugin-host, resizable modern GUI, and more. Still a ways to go but 4 years into development now. Eventually it will return. ;)

That was interesting and so is the price. Korg seems to surprise us with reissues of forgotten gear. But for some reason won't reissue stuff that people have been begging for like the Mono-poly.

I don't quite get the business model but at least they're doing something unique I guess for the 5 people that can afford it.

:o
I make all the mistakes for you so that you can learn what not to do. ;)

I'd still like to see a Volca Karplus-Strong system, and maybe a Volca VPM along the lines of Gadget's Chiang Mai.

I suspect around 500 people will want and be able to afford this.

I don't approve the slightly ironic comments, on the subject of Karma and Stephen Kay.
Fantastic innovator, programmer and musician. A musician with a capital M, his presentations of Karma on the Korg Oasys are a magnificent experience, to which I have returned many, many times. I'm glad it works on the 64-bit version of Karma. I sincerely wish him all the best in life, work and music.

Maybe I missed it, but at least my comment was not at all meant ironically.
Also, I'd never buy the Nautilus since there is no Karma on board...

The IRONY is, perhaps two non-native english speakers mis-using the word ironic…

:D

I would do no better in either of your native languages. Being myself, a native french speaker, latin grammar is different from english grammar, so my sentences are sometimes backwards.

As humor, based off of Stephen’s reply, SARCASM might be: “Looking forward to a new KARMA release in 2028!”

Nonetheless and allthemore, I believe everyone who post, has great admiration and respect for Stephen and loves KARMA.

Now can we get back to gushing over new gear we can’t afford!

Sarcastic post-script edit:
Being that Korg is selling a “very well dressed” raspberry.pi https://www.raspberrypi.com/success-sto ... thesizers/

NAMM 2025 Korg is happy to announce the Volca 3300 series

I am glad that it is so, and that I was wrong. Stephen really deserves only the sincerest praise. I wish you a nice time during the weekend.

Stephen, I'm an M3 owner & Karmalabs member. I bought all your packs for it.

I just bought a used Kronos I, so I'll be back at your site, buying some packs for Kronos I.

IDK why Korg discontinued it. I think KARMA is the most important development since MIDI. But I am glad in a way, it did not catch on.

It is a secret weapon for players who know how to use it.
