Sounds Missing

Great stuff, the sample message has gone, even without a restart. Okay, so I have lost my set-lists, but now I can load my saved USB, yes?

Try to load your USB contents but remember that if you have custom samples you have to add yourSet.KSC in Auto-load menu.
KSC you have to add is yourSet_UserBank.KSC that works in preload mode with less Ram

Okay, when I insert my USB and look at contents, there are FOUR items:

1. An empty folder with no size that says K2 back up SEP 2021

2. K2 back up SEp2021...User bank KSC (4.0M)

3. K2 Back UP SEP2021 KSC (279K)

4. K2 Back Up SEP2021 PCG (46M)

Do I need to load all of these?

You will prompted to load all relative but do manually the following
- Copy the whole folder K2 Back Up in your Kronos SSD since you have samples and delete any previous folder under same name.
Open this folder in SSD now and do the following
- Load K2 Back Up SEP2021.PCG (46M)
- Add K2 back up SEp2021_User bank.KSC in Auto-load and delete all older back-up.KSC you can find there !

Hey, my man, you are a super-hero. I cannot thank you enough for your time and wisdom. It all works! I have lost a few set-lists, but that will teach me to save my work more often. I can put those set-lists back together, no problem. Once again, huge thanks, I was tearing my hair out with the problem. Jed , you were very lucky that only some ordinary files were damaged and not system files ...
Next time you will save data or update system remember that power supply must be steady or use a UPS !

Hey, Anthony,

I hate to bother you again after all you did for me today, but when I booted up this evening the following message appeared:

"Auto Load Error. The following KSC files could not be found.
K2 BACK UP SEP 2021..User bank KSC"

Now, when I go to global and then KSC Auto-Load, it is there on the list, but it has RAM size 0 and Disk Size also is 0

Should I load it?

It's because KSC file was added from USB drive that is not present.
Read again the following instructions :

- Copy the whole folder "K2 Back Up SEP2021" from USB drive in your Kronos SSD and delete any previous folder under same or similar name.
- Goto Global/Auto load page and delete any other KSC file except Preload.KSC
- At the same page , press "Add" button , browse HD/K2 Back Up SEP2021 (copied file in SSD) click on SEp2021_User bank.KSC and press Add to finish.
- Done

From Auto - Load page , Add button is always active , when you press it browse HD/K2 Back Up SEP2021 find _User bank.KSC file
click on it and then Add button is enabled ...
This is a rule and always works , also try a restart if fail to enable it and try again.

I have found BACK UP SEP2021, but not user bank KSC file. When I first copied to SSD I just copied the Back Up SEP 20201 folder. Should I have copied the four files we mentioned earlier as well?

This is your mistake !
You opened main folder and copied ony a subfolder ... while I said copy the whole folder of your USB drive that contains a subfolder ,
PCG and KSC files , so do it right and try again !
I do not have the whole picture of your files in USB drive , for instance when I make a backup I always create a main folder of contents
not to be scattered in media disk !

So create a folder in HD f.e. 2022BackUp , and copy inside all related files and folders under the same name that exist in your USB drive.

You must frequently save only PCG file in that folder , which contains all editing info including your set lists.
