Is there a way to delete songs?

Post by blazerunner »

If you have say 5 or so songs saved and they're all under the same file name but you want to get rid of 4 of them and just keep 1 song in that file is there a way to do that?

For example... Lets say you might have a song named Song000,Song001, Song002 and so on... that you made all saved under the "Song000" save name. When you go to load that file "Song000" it will load all the other songs you made along with it as well.

I want to delete all the other songs and just keep "Song000" that I made. So that when it loads only Song000 is in that file bank and the other songs are empty.

I've been looking for it but can't seem to find a way.

Go to the Song you want to 'delete' in the SEQ, and from the drop-down menu, select "Initialize Song". That will clear the song data.

Thanks for the tip but that's not what I'm trying to accomplish exactly.

What I'm more or less trying to do is file management of being able to go into a folder and clear out songs so that when I load it the file that I kept is the song and only song that loads when I load the file. So that it comes up first so that I don't have to scroll through empty (previously deleted) sequences to get to it.

Like for EX. a windows folder. I open it and delete all the files I don't want. Then next time I click the folder only the file I wanted to keep is in there.

Will the Kronos allow you to do that?

May I add to the Tenohtwo thread who is right that after what Tenohtwo said, you simply save your song. And when you will reload it you will see that there is only the one song (let's say Song 000 that has been saved (without the others Song001 Song002 etc...)

Simple simple simple !
