Hello everyone,
I know this is a rarely frequented subforum, but here I am nevertheless. I put in a bid for a pretty much brand new WD-X with a soft gigbag and unopened stand. If I win this, my plans are to run the mono L/R channels into my Yamaha AG-06 Mixer, then USB out into my Mac Mini with CuBase.
Does this sound like a workable plan? In addition, for gigging out, I have a little Yamaha THR5A amp that seems it would do nicely in combo with the mixer, the WD-X and my electro acoustic instruments.
I really do hope I win the auction, as a former djembe player, the WD seems to be right up my alley. Hope everyone is having a nice holiday season!

Well, I won the auction. I got an essentially brand new WD-X (guy got it, played it 30 minutes, then put it back in the original box!) with original ST-WD stand and soft gig bag for $200.
Looking so forward to playing this instrument; with my background as a drummer, and my desire to try new instruments, I think this Wavedrum is going to be perfect for my songwriting needs!

You will enjoy it. I have run mine through a Yamaha MG10 mixer with no problems into an audio interface to logic no problems and into some QSCK10 pa no problems.
There are some threads with mod ideas which are cool if you are into that sort of thing, I like putting it through some of my guitar effects and or a multi-effect.
Choices are there and documented in this sub-forum somewhere. Enjoy!
