Updating Wavestate

Post by fjs714 »

Hi Fellas,
I have a problem. My Wavestate is 1.02. I wanted to upgrade but my Macbook Pro is Yosemite 10.10.5. Korg says I need Mac 10.12. to use the librarian and editor and upgrader. Any advice besides buying a new Mac?
Thanks

You might be able to use a Windows virtual machine. Is your Mac not upgradable past Yosemite?

Troubles solved

Post by Martin J »

Hello,

at first, I wanted to bother y'all with my inability to move beyond version 1.02 of the software as I was getting "communication error" prompt window with the message "Please update device to minimum version: wavestate 1.0.3" underneath it, but with the older versions of the updater available, notably 1.0.3a and the pdf with the well-written instructions, I was able to move on. Thank you @danatkorg for such thorough info and your dedication, it really was a great help. And thank you for this amazing synth!

Have a great day!

-Martin
