problems with conecction USB to pa1000?

Does anyone have problems with their connection from their keyboard pa1000 via usb to their computer? My windows 8 computer does not recognize the pa 1000 - I HAVE DOUBTS IN WHICH YOU SHOULD USE --- OF THE TWO PORTS TO TRANSMIT MIDI DATA TO YOUR DAW --- AND THE OTHER USB PORT DEVICE - I DO NOT HAVE IT VERY CLEAR MY ENGLISH IS NOT SO GOOD AND IT IS HARD FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND THE MANUAL --- THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP - --
