Style - left hand accomp

Just received my PA1000 and got stuck on this.

Seems when I am in style mode (split) and I lift my left hand off the keyboard, the accomp stops but the drums/percussion continues. When I put my left hand back on the keyboard, the accomp starts again. Seems I need to keep my left hand on the keyboard to hear the accomp.

Is this correct? If so, I would like to be able to change it so that I can lift my left hand off the keyboard to hit some buttons and the last chord and accomp continue to play.

Press "Memory" button (it's near the styles select buttons)
