SD card installation

I recently bought a PA4X oriental . I have read the manual over and over but I can’t find a solution to my SD card problem. Here is what happens:

I got a micro-SD card
Installed it as directed
It needed to be formatted, so I formatted the SD successfully as directed
Made a complete backup of the disk, and saved it on SD card, worked fine
I verified file properly saved on SD card, and installed files on the backup to make sure it works, and it does.
So far there is nothing wrong, except, I turn off the keyboard, and next time I turn it on, It requires me to format the SD card, and it thinks this is a new card.
Can you tell me how I can solve this problem?

Not sure why this is happening but I have to ask if your PA4X was completely powered off every time you remove and insert the SD card.

I only installed the SD once, and that was with no electricity in the system.
all the operation gets done perfectly, so I don't see how there could be a damage. is there a setting I need to change anywhere so the keyboard recognizes the SD? is there another save of some shape or form?

That's good.
I recommend that you try a different SD card and see if the problem persists.

The SD card was brand new and bought for this purpose. But id just noticed additional irregularity that might help you figure out the problem.
I formatted the card, did a complete backed up into it, and reinstalled the backup. this entire process as I indicated before worked perfectly.
I just realized that presence of a formatted SD card is not enabling the "DIRECT" functions. For example you wan to use a different style, it goes into style banks but DIRECT is disabled. Any Ideas?
