This was asked in another thread but was missed; is there a quick one or two-button combo to quickly transpose stuff? I'm starting to get confused with creating PGMs and COMBIs for practice at home (concert pitch) and then using the same or similar at band practice where everyone tunes a half-step down. I know, ideally, I'd just play in a lower key, but I'm not that good yet.
Would love to know if there's a quick global transpose button. Thanks!

Hi,
Nope, there is no quick global transpose button.
Change it in the global settings, first page (G-BASIC). It is not as easy reachable as a button, but neither too hard to change it in between two songs. You don't need to save it.
Bye.

That's not too bad. Certainly not as big of a PITA as changing the transposition of every PGM in every COMBI that I use lol! Thanks!OpAmp wrote:Hi,

Yes it is difficult. You need two hands to enter in global. Then, cursor down several time. Then turning knob button. And there go 20 seconds from the song.OpAmp wrote:Hi,

Have the same issue as i am a musician that rely on Transpose function and since Kross does not have dedicated buttons it seems as a limitation IMHO.
I just found a solution to it though:
Things you need:
1 Ipad camera connection kit adapter for ios or OTG adapter for Android devices ($30 / $5)
1 USB A TO B CABLE $3
1 ios or android device (cellphone, tablet, iphone or ipad) $50 / $1000
1 Touch OSC app (you can find it on the appstore or Playstore for $4.99)
The processs is simple , this app allows you to customize a control surface that transmit midi messages and sysx to your Kross 2
You need to program buttons or shortcuts with the following universal sysx transpose codes:
.....
F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 3D --> -3
F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 3E --> -2
F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 3F --> -1
F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 40 --> transpose back to 0 = same as pushing - and +
F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 41 --> +1
F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 42 --> +2
F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 43 --> +3
... and so on ....
This worked for me since Kross doesn’t have direct acces for transpose functions.
Hope it comes in handy!
