Voice Modes with Split/Layer/Crossfade

Post by ees3dc »

I don't own a Prologue (yet). I've read the manual but its not clear:

Each "sound" has its own voice mode (poly, mono, unison, chord). When you have a split/layer/crossfade program, do the main and sub-timbres have their own voice mode or is the voice mode a "global" setting of that patch?

I'm hoping the voice mode is per timbre, ie a mono/unison bass sound on the left keys and a poly/chord on the right keys.

Thanks

Yes, voice mode is for every timbre individually. So you can have a split with a mono/unison bass, and a poly pad.
