Pa4x Booting problem OS 3.10

hello, i have a problem with my Korg pa4x, the keyboard is not booting since yesterday. I tried to install new OS 3.1.0 again, but did not help, but also i had with OS 2 Format & Reset the Keyboard and I got no result. How can I reset the RAM without booting the device?
I am very grateful if anybody could help me

What exactly happens when you try to re-install V2?
Do you actually get to choosing the update file? etc..etc..

All the process completes normally like always until the last step that the kayboard boots and in a second all lights will be on. Just freezes by booting, by screen with os information.

remove your sd card and the power cable from the keyboard, that was also the case with me

Hallo dacca,

i have no sd card in my keyboard. i tried the same with hard disk but no result.

I had the same problem.I go to a service(no official Korg) and they made it.
But sadly I dont know how...

I had the problem after a factory reset(always make factory reset befor loading a new set).Now the keyborad work perfect, but im afrade to make factory reset anymore:)
I made an empty backup and I use that befor loading a new set.
I’m curios what the problem coud be...
Let us know if you find any solution
I know for sure the keyboard has no big problem and surly is no hardwere problem.

Ask the service people what they did - sounds like it wasn't hardware.

I called a local workshop and he tolled me that the mainboard have a problem and cost me to fix between 900€ and 1200€. That is too high for me! I’m sure that the problem is something like memory corruption.

I payd about 60$
I try to contact them and if its possible to help you online I give you they phone number.
I was asked them what the problem was, but they dident give me a concrete answer...
I bought the keyboard used without warenty and was happy they coud made it, so I dont asked many questions:)
I hope I will find a way to help you, I understand perfetly your situation....

Just a sugetion:try to reinstal OS 3.0.1(when I got back the instrument, it has this OS and Factory reseteted

I speek with them and thei say it can be solved online, but they say that is problem with the flesh memory for boot.You have to rewrite that memory with a special service soft and than reinstall the os.
Let me know if you resolved the problem.

maybe they mean os 2 (2,4gb), i installed it more times but no result. the local workshop tolled me that the mainboard should be replaced and the cost was too high so therefor i sold it for very less money. the problem began after loading a set, i knew that was a memory curaption but no software will solve it instead replacing the hardware? It is a pity that no software have been made to fix the problem!! or maybe some people have the solution so i heared many times that some people buy it for less money, fixe it with the special software and sell it back. i will buy a new one.
